It's that time of year again: it's the annual National Indoor Plant Week!! Harding Botanicals will be out again in Boston this week to celebrate!
Come find us on Wednesday the 14th in PO Square handing out our little baby azaleas! We will be set up right in front of 50 PO Square and will be there around lunch time! Come get'em before they are gone (they go so fast!)
Introducing plants into your office or lobby really enhances and improves the space. Plants and containers are chosen to fit the aesthetic and can bring in a different element to the space. What I love most though is that, with the right design, it can totally transform an area!
By adding the right elements in the right spots a modern lobby can look even more modern; or it can make a homey office space feel that much more homey! Annually every 3rd week in September marks National Indoor plant Week! We love this week because it showcases some of our favorite things: PLANTS!! This week is to remind us all of how important plants are to our happiness and even our survival! What are the benefits of indoor plants you ask?! Well let me inform you:
1. Purifies the air we breath: Plants break down chemical components found in industrial glues and paints and remove other pollutants from the air.
2. Noise reduction: Reduces distractions and makes it much easier to concentrate
3. Creates Oxygen!!
4. Connects us with the Outdoors: Plants in the work-space give a sense of connection with nature (something that you miss when you are inside all day, especially in the winter time!)
5. Ease tension: Plants moderate temperatures, increase relative humidity, and can personalize an office space.
And soooo much more!!
Last year to celebrate this week we were on the streets of Boston handing out plants to passerby's to bring a little life to the office desks! Guess what?!?! We will be doing the same thing again this year! We had so much fun with it last year that we knew that we had to celebrate the same way this year.
SOOOOOOOOO come find us on Tuesday September 15, 2015 on the Rose Kennedy Greenway at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and East India Row from 10:30am till all our plants are gone! Looking forward to seeing you there!
At the very beginning of the summer this year we had one of our favorite new installs!! We got to design the new TripAdvisor headquarters located here in MA. We love their fun and diverse style and had so much fun picking out the perfect plants and the perfect containers!!

Next let's travel to their main forum with amphitheater style seating. To compliment the very industrial design of the HQ we used stunning Restoration Hardware containers on the stairs.
And get this.....they have a GAME ROOM!!! It has the very best side tables (that I desperately want!! #havetohavethem)
Each floor is base off the continents so one floor is the "Americas" another is "the Pacific Islands," just as an example. So for fun and to keep with the theme we wanted to choose plants that were sinuous to the floors.
